Five Unusual Gift Ideas for Groomsmen

A wedding ceremony will not be complete without groomsmen. They played a key role during the affair and spent to rent or buy their tuxedos just to make themselves appropriate to the occasion. Therefore, after the celebration, it is but right for the groom and the bride to make them feel they are appreciated.
You think you would rather stay away from the typical gift items for your groomsmen. To show gratitude, you wish to buy or create something unusual for them like personalized beer mugs. Unusual could mean extraordinary, odd, bizarre or strange. But what these words try to communicate is the thoughtfulness and the value the bride and the groom offer to their groomsmen. Let us try to come up with a gift that fits the following synonyms of the word unusual, yet appealing and, as most requested, affordable:
Shirt. Yes, shirt is an ordinary gift, but you can make this extraordinary. Buy a shirt that is too small (tiny may be the most fitting word) or too big (as big a size for two people). Then, buy colorful pens for fabric. Write down these words in big letters in front of the shirt: “I AM A PROUD GROOSMAN FOR (name of the groom) AND (name of the bride)”. You may include the date of the wedding at the back. If you like, you can also buy accessories, such as colorful beads and buttons, to add artistry in the design. Be sure to give this together with a hanger. If you cannot find one that fits the shirt, make one.
Look-Alike Doll. Find sellers of look-alike dolls online or ask referrals from people you know. Once negotiation is settled, provide a picture that is taken during your wedding. This will really become a memoir of his participation in your wedding celebration as much as personalized shot glasses. Instruct the seller to copy not only the face, but also the built and how your groomsman is dressed up. In the stand, make a request to write his name with this adjective “The best groomsman in the land” and the date of your wedding day.
Pet. If your groomsman is a pet lover, give him a dog. Name the dog GM, short for groomsman. Make sure you already provided a dog tag so he would not be able to rename the dog.
A Bottle of Wine or personalized picture frames. Or so he thought. You will just use a bottle of wine (don’t forget the cap), but what’s inside are little notes from the bride and the groom. These can contain anecdotes he shares with both of you. Write the note in small, colorful papers. Remember, boys, more often than not, are not emotional. Try to write notes that will get him off his feet! If he has stories about girls, write them down.
Ticket. This could be cinema, concert or any event ticket. This will serve as your treat. Be sure to buy one that fits his interest, though, to make sure he will attend to it.
