Quick weight loss continues to be elusive for most people. Many of the “quick weight loss” methods that are touted actually add weight instead> Unfortunately, effective weight loss is never a “quick” process.
There is only one way to lose weight. Lower your calorie consumption while raising your calorie use. If you think that you can lose weight without dieting, you’re going to be overweight for a long time.
First, you’re going to have to change the way you eat. Since your metabolism goes up each time you eat, having several small meals each day will keep it elevated, burning more calories. And never forget that what you eat is just as important as how you eat.
Any food that is high in fat, carbs, or starches will doom you to failure. You must substitute fruits and vegetables for these high-fat foods. Without these changes, you’ll find losing weight impossible.
Increasing your physical activity is another requirement for weight loss. Remember that stairs burn more calories than elevators. At the mall, park as far from the door as you can. Increasing your activity is just a matter of looking around you and finding the ways.
One thing you mustn’t do is give up! Even quick weight loss takes time!
